Extraordinary Real Wedding: Rebecca and Joseph's 1920's Glam Wedding
Having had a 1920's glam hen do myself, when i saw the styling of this particular extraordinary real wedding, I just couldn't wait to write about it. What a stunning couple Rebecca and Joseph they made for their October wedding. They really look like they could have walked straight out of the silver screen!
Talking with Rebecca she tells me:
"I'm 28 and Joe is 27. We have been together for 7 years and have a beautiful little boy Noah who is 3. We are a carefree loving family who enjoy spending our weekends together with family days out. Back in December 2015 we got the keys to our first home where Joe proposed as we walked in for the first time!
We both like something a little different and I knew I wanted a long sleeve dress and not a "typical" wedding dress. I love the class of the 1920's era, with the dark feel glam.
We really enjoyed creating a lot of the little details ourselves, making our own drinks station and biscuit bar ( I'm a huge biscuit lover!)"
Rebecca and Joe really did create a bygone era with their beautiful wedding, in the stunning setting of Madeley court hotel,Telford .
On doing a little research of the venue, it has quite a history of its own. A regular reported sighting is that of a monk that is seen moving slowly across the grounds. Hood up and head down he ignores any attempt at communication and then slowly disappears into thin air. Other reports of similar activity have been seen on the top floor where members of staff and guests have reported seeing maids dressed in Victorian attire quietly going about their business cleaning the floors. Upon sighting, and attempt at communication, they simply fade away into thin air or mysteriously disappear.
I wonder if they had any unexpected guests on their day from a different era?
