Well it would seem a perfect place to begin, with our very own wedding. A fusion of Eastern philosophy mixed with a beautiful English country house.
Set in the stunning Stoke Rochford Hall, Lincolnshire, an 1840's Grade 1 Victorian Mansion set within formal landscaped gardens.
With such a quintessential English country pile as our venue, you could be fooled into thinking our would be a very traditional affair.... Well, that was never going to happen.
With my love of all things spiritual and Eastern and Jon's love of Chelsea Football Club, normal was never going to cut it.
Instead we opted ( or should I say I opted, as Jon just went along with it... at times doubting how it would all come together I'm sure) for a blend of Buddhas and Orchids, loosely inspired by a trip we had to The Buddha Bar, Dubai and our own decor at home. ( I think there is some spiritual reference in most every room, along with Jon's growing collection of Dinky and Corgi toys, they didn't make the final cut on the wedding mood board however!)
So just what happens when Buddha meets the Blues Brothers? (Of the Chelsea and Rangers variety that is)
A beautiful eclectic mix of East meets West..... vibrant colours, a profusion of flowers , copious amounts of Champagne; collected in advance from the producer himself, Jean-Paul Hébrart , near to Epernay, in the Champagne region of France. And of course great food from the team at Stoke Rochford Hall. Add a mad array of music and mayhem and our guests were kept entertained throughout.
